A page for your place, behind one short link

Your photos, your hours, your menu, this week's offer, and which gate, floor and door to use. It is your page, and it opens on any phone with nothing to install. Businesses use it to run offers they can prove. Creators use it to get the credit for people they send.

Wondering why not just a maps listing? Here's the case for it. For what people actually do with one, see the use cases.

A tinymap open on a phone: the place's photo, an offer, the entrance to use and today's hours

Setting one up

  1. Search for your place. You have a short link from that moment, and you do not need an account to make one.
  2. Customise it: photos, hours, the entrance to use, phone numbers, your menu and booking links.
  3. Pick a 4-digit code for your counter and, if you want, an offer. Without the code no offer can be accepted, so nothing can be proved.
  4. Add the creators you are working with. Each one gets their own link and a budget you decide.
  5. Share the link, or print the QR code. It opens on any phone, with no app.

What each number counts

Four steps, each one better proof than the last, each kept separate. What every one of them misses is written down too. A number is only worth having if you know what it leaves out.

  1. 01OpenedSomebody opened the page. The least you can know, and the only thing every link tells you.Misses: Opening is not deciding. Somebody who shut it a second later still counts here.
  2. 02DirectionsThey tapped Directions and went off to Google or Apple Maps.Misses: Wanting to go is not going. Plenty of people get directions and never set off.
  3. 03ArrivedThe tinymap app noticed their phone arrive at the place.Misses: Only people who have the app are counted, so early on this will be far too low.
  4. 04Walked inYour staff put the 4-digit code into the customer's phone to accept an offer.Misses: Anyone who walks in and never asks for the offer is not counted at all.

Worth knowing

  • Up to 12 photos on a place. The first one is the thumbnail.
  • If you change your handle, the old link keeps working — so nothing you have already shared breaks.
  • Anyone with the link can open the page. It will not show up in search, but it is not private either — do not put anything on it you would not hand to a stranger.
  • Arrived and Walked in both count less than really happened, never more. We keep the four steps apart instead of adding them into one number.
