About tinymap

What is tinymap?
tinymap gives any place — a restaurant, a shop, an event, a new building, an office or your own front door — a page you control instead of the same maps listing everyone else sends: your photos in your order, the exact entrance and parking, offers, events, menus and bookings, plus proof of who actually arrived and who sent them.
How is tinymap different from Google Maps or Apple Maps?
A maps listing is the same generic page for every place, and none of it is yours to control. A tinymap page is yours: the photos, the order, the entrance and floor, the offer, the events — and it counts arrivals and walk-ins, credited to the creator, agent or ad that sent each visitor. Hours, phone and directions can still come from your Google listing.
Is tinymap free?
Making a link to a place — your home, your party, your open house — is free and needs no account. Businesses and creators sign in to the business app for offers, analytics and collaborations.
Does tinymap have an app?
Yes, on iPhone and Android. Every page also works on the web without the app; the app adds automatic arrival detection.
Where does tinymap work?
Everywhere. tinymap is used worldwide, in any currency and timezone.
Who sent this visitor?
Every link can carry a handle — a creator, an agent, an ad, an invite list. Opens, directions, arrivals and staff-accepted offers through that link are counted under it.
Can I use tinymap for a place that isn't on Google?
Yes. Drop a pin by hand for a stall, a building site, a gate or a home.

Location experience

What is a location experience on tinymap?
It is the set of pins inside one place — the entrance, parking, lift, reception and so on — each with a photo and directions, shown on the place's tinymap page and in the tinymap app.
How many pins can one place have?
Up to ten. The first is the place itself; the others mark the spots inside or around it.
Does it work for places Google doesn't know?
Yes. You can drop a pin by hand for a stall, a plot under construction or a gate with no street number.

Offers & coupons

How do customers redeem a tinymap offer?
They open the offer on the place page, which shows a QR code and a short code. A staff member accepts it by entering the place's 4-digit staff PIN.
Can a customer redeem their own coupon at home?
No. Redemption needs the staff PIN, which only the place's staff know.
Do customers need the app?
No. Offers work on the web page; the app adds arrival detection on top.

Events

How do I add an event to my tinymap page?
In the business app, open your place, go to Events, add the name, days, times and optional flyer, and save. It shows on your public page immediately.
Can an event span several days?
Yes — up to 31 days, each with its own hours or marked all day.
What happens after the event?
Past days stop showing automatically; the event disappears from the page once its last day has passed.

Menus & happy hours

Does tinymap support happy-hour pricing?
Yes. You set happy-hour windows by day and time, and each dish can carry a happy-hour price that is shown only during those windows.
Can I show prices in my currency?
Prices are shown in the place's currency; tinymap is used worldwide.

Bookings

Can customers book directly from a tinymap page?
Yes. When bookings are on, the page shows a Book button; guests choose a time and the request arrives in the business app.
Can I use my existing booking system?
Yes. The Book button can open an external booking link instead of tinymap's own form.

Call & message

Which messaging apps does tinymap support?
WhatsApp, Telegram and SMS/iMessage, plus regular phone calls.
Can I see how many people messaged me?
Yes. The business dashboard counts calls and messages by app.

Arrival tracking

How does tinymap know someone arrived?
The tinymap phone app detects when the phone reaches the place. On the web, a staff-accepted offer is the proof of a visit instead.
Does arrival tracking work without the app?
No. Automatic arrival needs the iPhone or Android app; without it, visits are counted when staff accept an offer.

Creator attribution

How does tinymap attribute visits to creators?
Each creator shares a link tagged with their handle. Opens, directions, app arrivals and staff-accepted offer redemptions from that link are counted under the creator.
Can creators offer something exclusive?
Yes. A creator's link can carry its own offer, redeemable only through that link.

Documents & brochures

What file types can I attach?
PDFs and images, up to 100 MB each.
Do visitors have to download the file?
No. Files open in a viewer inside the page and the app.

Live status

How long does a status stay up?
Until the time you set. It removes itself so nothing stale is left behind.

Analytics

What does tinymap measure?
Opens, directions, calls, messages by app, link taps, document opens, saves, shares, bookings, app arrivals and offer redemptions, per place and per source.
