Offers & coupons

An offer your counter can accept — and count

A free miso soup, a first-visit discount, two-for-one before seven. The offer sits at the top of your page. At the counter the customer shows a code, your staff accept it with a 4-digit staff PIN, and the visit is recorded with whoever sent them.

  1. 01Write the offer and set a staff PIN
  2. 02It appears at the top of your page

Nothing to type for the customer

The offer opens as a QR code and a short code to say out loud. No account, no app required on the web.

Staff confirm, not the customer

Redemption needs the staff PIN, so a claimed visit is a real one — the person claiming it is never the one confirming it.

One redemption per visitor

Each code is single-use, and the page shows it as used afterwards.

Credited to the source

If the visitor came through a creator's link, the redemption is counted under that creator's handle.

Offers & coupons: questions

How do customers redeem a tinymap offer?
They open the offer on the place page, which shows a QR code and a short code. A staff member accepts it by entering the place's 4-digit staff PIN.
Can a customer redeem their own coupon at home?
No. Redemption needs the staff PIN, which only the place's staff know.
Do customers need the app?
No. Offers work on the web page; the app adds arrival detection on top.
